Prairie State Impressions


Prairie State Impressions is a company that specializes in printing narrow-web flexible packaging. This type of flexible packaging is often required by many food packers for such items as cookie bags, potato chip bags, candy packs, meats and cheeses, and ice cream novelties. Prairie State Impressions (PSI) was started three years ago as an off-shoot of the company Prairie State Graphics (PSG).

The work environment at PSI is friendly and hardworking. The PSI employees are experts in their field and their print experts have over 100 years of combined experience in printing solutions.

Today, PSI has grown from a tiny off-shoot of PSG to become a company with 13 full-time employees and six subcontracted workers as well. PSI now shares a 15,000 square-foot facility with PSG and is located on the far Northwest side of Chicago.

There are two things that separate PSI from other printers. One is that they are one of very few companies nationwide that specialize in narrow-web, flexible packaging. The second thing that separates PSI from other printers is their devotion to customer satisfaction and their focus on full service to their customers. PSI handles printing quantities from the thousands to the millions, and also can do design work and pre-press services for its clients.
